Assalaamu Alaikum
As part of our outreach programme to the sick, frail and aged, Gift of the Needy Director Moulana Moosa Leher and team visited and assisted Abida's Frail Care Centre in Crosby, Johannesburg. The residents at the centre have been abandoned by their families and are destitute. They depend on the care and support of Sister Abida who in turn depends on the generosity of sponsors to meet the needs of the elderly in her care. Currently, there are 11 elderly residents at the centre and Gift of the Needy purchased the following items to bring ease and comfort to them :

Pillows
Pillow Cases
Towels
Sheets

We also purchased freshly baked scones as a tea time treat for these deserving beneficiaries.
